First setup
Six short walkthroughs that put one real thing each into your tenant, in the order that works.
Do these in order. Each one depends on the one before it: prices need products, customer prices need customers, a storefront needs all three, and an order needs a storefront to be placed in. Every walkthrough is short by design. It gets one real thing working, tells you what to check, and hands you on to the guide chapter and the Product Help page that go deeper.
Use real data throughout. One article from your own catalog with its real attributes, one price from your real price list, one customer you have supplied for years. Test data proves nothing, because it never has the awkward field.
- Invite your team: get the colleague who knows the product data and the one who knows the prices into the Cockpit.
- Create products: one product by hand, then the model it revealed.
- Configure pricing: a default list, a list price, and a first scale rung.
- Add a customer: an organisation, a contact who may order, and their price list.
- Create a storefront: a site, a theme, and the domain that makes it real.
- Place an order: the loop closed once, by hand, as a buyer.
When all six are done you have proved the chain end to end. Going live turns that into a plan.
