FAQ

Billing

Plans, invoices, add-ons, what apps cost, and the two changes that cost money immediately.

Everything you pay for sits under Settings › Billing, in five tabs: Plan, Services & Addons, Invoices, Payment methods, Quotes. It is visible to administrators and billing administrators only.

Where do I find our invoices?

Settings › Billing › Invoices lists every invoice by number, date, status and amount, each with a PDF for your Buchhaltung. For older documents or a billing-address change, the Chargebee portal button opens the payment provider's own portal. See Subscription and billing.

Why can my colleague not see the Billing screen?

It is visible to administrators and billing administrators only, and those are roles in the identity provider that cannot yet be assigned from the Cockpit. Changing who holds them is a request to your revenexx contact. See Users, roles and permissions.

If I cancel, when does it take effect?

At the end of the current term, not immediately. The platform stays fully usable until that date, and Undo cancellation reverses it any time before then. The term-end date and the subscription ID are on the Plan tab; quote the ID in any billing conversation. See Subscription and billing.

When is a change to an add-on charged?

Add-ons are booked by quantity, and the direction decides the timing. An increase is charged immediately, pro rata for the rest of the term, so it is a payment rather than a request. A decrease lands at the end of the term and nothing is refunded now. Add-ons booked for a project that finished keep billing until somebody reduces them. See Subscription and billing.

What does an app cost?

Apps carry their own pricing: Included with your subscription, Free, or Paid on its own line. It is on the app's Marketplace listing, next to the publisher and the permissions it requests. Check it there before you install, not on the invoice afterwards. A dependency that costs money is presented for you to confirm rather than pulled in silently. See Apps and the Marketplace.

Our card expired and the renewal failed.

The most common billing incident, because an expiring card fails silently until the invoice does. Add a new card under Payment methods, mark it Default, then remove the old one; removing the only card on file does not cancel anything, but the next renewal fails. Check the validity date on the default card once a quarter. See Subscription and billing.

An add-on shows "Provisioning pending". Did the payment fail?

No. It is booked and paid for, and the underlying service is not yet ready to use. If it stays pending for longer than a day, raise it with support with the subscription ID from the Plan tab. See Subscription and billing.

I declined a quote by mistake. Can I accept it after all?

No. A declined quote cannot be accepted afterwards; ask your revenexx contact for a new one. If a quote is still under discussion, leave it open rather than declining it, since it carries a validity date and expires on its own. See Subscription and billing.

Does uninstalling an app stop its billing and delete its data?

It removes the app and its screens from your tenant. The data stays: the tables the app owns are preserved so a reinstall restores access to them, which makes uninstalling reversible and also means it is not a way to delete data. Whether billing stops follows the app's pricing and your term, so check the invoice line after the next renewal. See Apps and the Marketplace.

Where do I change our billing address?

In the payment provider's portal, opened with the Chargebee portal button on the Billing screen. Card details are entered there too; the card number never passes through the Cockpit or through revenexx. See Subscription and billing.
