Subscription and billing
Everything to do with what you pay sits under Settings › Billing, and the same screen is one click away from your name in the top bar. Payment itself runs through Chargebee, the payment provider: card details go there directly and never pass through the Cockpit.
The five tabs
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Plan | Your subscription, its status, and how to change or cancel it |
| Services & Addons | Quantity-based extras booked on top of the plan |
| Invoices | Every invoice, with a PDF |
| Payment methods | The cards on file |
| Quotes | Offers from revenexx waiting for your decision |
Your plan
The Plan tab shows the subscription by name with its state, Active, Trial, Cancelled, Expiring or Paused, alongside the net monthly figure (MRR net), Next billing, Term ends, and the Subscription ID. Quote that ID in any billing conversation; it removes a round trip. While you are on a trial, the top bar also counts the days left.
Change plan opens the list of plans; each card shows what it includes and, where a trial applies, how long. Cancel subscription takes effect at the end of the current term, not immediately: the platform stays fully usable until that date, the card shows Cancelled effective with the date, and Undo cancellation reverses it any time before then.
The Chargebee portal button opens the payment provider's own portal for anything the Cockpit does not cover, such as billing address changes or older documents.
Add-ons are booked by quantity
Add-ons are not features you switch on. They are counted in seats: you book a number, and you can then use up to that number. The card shows seats booked next to in use. SFTP accounts work this way: book four, then create up to four under Integration Studio's SFTP server.
Two rules that decide when money moves:
| Change | When it is charged |
|---|---|
| Increase | Immediately, pro rata for the rest of the term, from the card on file |
| Decrease | At the end of the term; nothing is refunded now |
So increasing is a payment, not a request, and the confirm button says so: Increase — payment required. An add-on may also show Provisioning pending, which means it is booked and paid for but the underlying service is not ready to use yet.
Invoices and cards
Invoices list by number, date, status and amount, each with a PDF for your Buchhaltung.
Card details are entered directly with Chargebee. You can hold several cards, each shown with its valid until month, and mark one as Default. Removing the only card on file does not cancel anything, but the next renewal will fail, so replace before you remove.
Quotes
If revenexx has prepared an offer for you, the Plan tab shows a banner, quotes are waiting for your approval, and the offer sits under Quotes with a total and a valid until date. Open it to see the line items and download the PDF.
Accept & subscribe turns the quote into an active subscription and charges it. Decline marks it declined, and a declined quote cannot be accepted afterwards. Ask for a new one instead of declining a quote you are still discussing.
What apps cost
Apps carry their own pricing: Included with your subscription, Free, or Paid on their own line. Check the pricing on the app before you install it, not on the invoice afterwards; see Apps and the Marketplace.
What to check
Once a quarter: the card expiry date, the Term ends date on the Plan tab, and whether your booked add-on quantities still match what you use. Add-ons booked for a project that finished keep billing until somebody reduces them, and the reduction only lands at the end of the term.
