Channel types
The Channel types tab: storefront, punchout, marketplace, API and POS — what a channel can be.
Channel types classify your channels: a storefront, a punchout integration, a marketplace, the API, a point of sale.
Where you find it
Commerce Studio › Configuration › Channel types —
/commerce/configuration?tab=types.

What it does
Five types ship built in: Storefront (the default), PunchOut — a buyer arriving out of their own procurement system via OCI or cXML — Marketplace, API and POS. New type adds your own.
