Where you find it

What it does
A value list: seven terms ship built in — Prepayment (the default), Direct debit, and Net 7, 14, 30, 60 and 90 days. New payment term extends the set with your own.
Fields and controls
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| # | Position. |
| Name | The term's name. |
| Code | The stable identifier, for example net_30. |
| What it means | A short description. |
| Default | The term new organizations inherit. |
| Built in | Whether the value ships with the platform. |
What happens when you change it
A new term becomes selectable on every organization. The default is what a company created without agreed terms starts on — which makes it a commercial decision, not a formality.
