Weight units
The Weight units tab: the units matrix methods measure in, with their kilogram factor.
Weight units define what a weight-based rate matrix measures in. Each unit carries its factor to kilogram, the base unit, so tiers written in pounds and weights stored in grams still land on the same ladder.
Where you find it
Commerce Studio › Order Management › Shipping › Weight units —
/commerce/shipping/weight-units.

What it does
One row per unit. Kilogram ships as the base and default; gram, pound and ounce come seeded alongside.

What happens when you change it
The factor decides how a stored weight maps onto a matrix tier — change it and every weight-priced quote in that unit changes with it.
