Set up access and apps

Your team, how they sign in, and the apps that make up your platform.

Three tasks, and they are worth doing in this order: get the right colleagues in, understand how sign-in works so you can fix it when it fails, then deal with apps.

Do the access work before you invite anyone. Adding people is quick; working out afterwards who has what, and being unable to change it yourself, is not.

Cockpit screens: partly planned. Two things in this chapter are not yet on your tenant: a role editor that gives individual colleagues different Cockpit permissions, and a self-service setup for connecting your own directory (Entra ID, Active Directory) to Revenexx SSO. What you can already use today: Settings › Team for inviting, suspending and removing colleagues and for ending their sessions, Revenexx SSO with multi-factor authentication under Settings › Profile › Security, and the whole of App Studio.
  • Users, roles and permissions — invite colleagues, suspend and remove them, and what roles can and cannot do today.
  • Single sign-on — how Cockpit sign-in works, what the failure page means, and connecting your own directory.
  • Apps and the Marketplace — installing, approving an update that asks for more access, per-market settings, and what uninstalling does not delete.
