Tune and merchandise

Work with it — Search & Discovery.

Once the index is configured, search stops being a project and becomes a weekly job. Two routines carry it. The first decides which of several matching articles a buyer sees first; that is merchandising, and it has one rule that outranks all others. The second works through the searches that found nothing, which is the cheapest demand data your shop produces.

Cockpit screens: planned. The Search app screens for boosts, pins, curation rules and the zero-results list are not yet available on your tenant. The decisions on these pages are real and worth settling now; where a page describes a Cockpit flow, it describes how it will work once it ships. What you can already use today: the product enabled flag and channel assignment in PIM › Products, the channel setting for unassigned products under Configuration › Channels, filterable attributes under PIM › Data model › Attributes, and your storefront's search log as the source of no-hit queries.
