Monitor and troubleshoot

Catching a broken feed before a buyer does, and reading the failures you will actually see.

Integrations rot quietly. A credential is rotated, a source system changes an export path, a nightly job creeps from twenty minutes to ninety, and none of that produces an error anyone sees. It produces a catalog frozen at last Monday, and a buyer who finds out before you do.

So monitor for expected activity as well as for errors: the run that succeeds with zero records and the run that never started are the two failures that never alert. When something does fail, fix it at the source rather than in the Cockpit. A value corrected here stays corrected until the next run.
