A catalog is never finished. The checks, the weekly loop, and what to do when a product will not appear.
Go-live is where catalog work changes shape. A supplier sends a new feed with the material spelled a different way than last year. Purchasing stops a range that forty customers still order from a 2019 price list. The model you built is fine; this is what a live catalog does every week.
These pages are the maintenance loop: a check you run on a schedule, the mass edits that keep coming back, and the stages a product passes through between "new from the supplier" and "no longer supplied".
- Completeness and readiness — knowing what is not ready, before a buyer finds out.
- Data quality in practice — the checks worth running every week.
- Bulk maintenance — the recurring mass edits, and which tool each one needs.
- Product lifecycle — new, active, phasing out, discontinued, superseded, and which of those is a field here.
- Why a product is not showing up — the six usual causes, in order.
