The buyer paths

Work with it — Configurable Products & Spare Parts.

Two of these three articles follow a buyer rather than an administrator, because in this area the buyer's path is the product. If a technician cannot get from a stopped machine to a cart in under a minute, no amount of correct data behind the page has helped. Walk both paths yourself, on a phone, before you decide the work is done.

The third is the routine that keeps it true. Parts data decays faster than any other catalogue data — supersessions, drawing revisions and serial breaks arrive continuously — and it decays silently, because everything still renders.
