Design your price structure

The structure prices sit in: your set of price lists, the markets and tax classes behind them, and the rules that make resolution deterministic.

Three decisions to make once, deliberately: how many price lists you need and how they are scoped, whether your stored amounts are net or gross, and how computed prices round.

None of them is hard. All of them are expensive to change after a few thousand prices and a few hundred customers exist, because changing them changes numbers that have already been quoted. Work through these in order before you enter your first price.
